Top Ten Tuesday is a book meme hosted by Broke and Bookish. Basically, you get a new bookish topic every Tuesday, and you comprise a list of ten (or however many you’re able to list) things relating to said topic.
This week’s topic is Books Outside US!!
I love reading books from different settings. I think it increases the scope of your knowledge and lets you experience different cultures around the world.
Even though I am from India, my reading revolves a lot around US authors and settings. So I will first list the books, I Love in the Indian setting.
Indian Books I have Read!!

Some of these books need a little understanding of the Hindu gods and myths. But still they are all an awesome read!!

4. Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini-Afghanistan and Pakistan
5. For the Love of a Son by Jean Sasson-Afghanistan
6. Princess by Jean Sasson-Afghanistan
7. Growing Up Bin Laden by Jean Sasson- This is an Actual story of Osama Bin Laden as told by his wife and eldest son.
8. Icon by Frederick Forsyth -Russia
9. Sorry by Zoran Drvenkar -It is translation of the original book in German..!!
10. Mary Tudor by Anna Whitelock
Confused!! These are the books Set in and around India but not by Indian Authors..so, putting them in a different list!! 🙂

2. Siddhartha by Hermann Hesse -German Author
3. Midnight’s Children by Salman Rushdie

Oh wow, great list! Quite a few I haven’t heard of, but I definitely need to read Khaled Hosseini’s books, I have heard nothing but amazing things! I’ll have to look some of the others up also. Fabulous choices!
